3/14/2023 0 Comments Spring CleanAs the weather starts to warm up and the flowers begin to bloom, many of us start thinking about spring cleaning our homes. But have you ever considered spring cleaning for your lifestyle? Spring is the perfect time to reset and refresh not just your living space, but also your body and mind. In this blog, we will explore the benefits of spring cleaning for your home, body, and mind.
Spring Cleaning for Your Home: When you think of spring cleaning, the first thing that comes to mind is probably cleaning out your home. Spring is a great time to declutter your living space, deep clean your home, and organize your belongings. But why is this important? Decluttering your home can have a positive impact on your mental health. A cluttered living space can lead to feelings of stress and anxiety, while a clean and organized space can promote relaxation and peace of mind. Additionally, deep cleaning your home can help improve the air quality in your home, reduce allergens, and prevent the buildup of harmful bacteria. Spring Cleaning for Your Body: Spring is also a great time to focus on your physical health. After a long winter of hibernating, many of us are ready to get outside and be more active. Spring cleaning your body can mean a variety of things, from trying a new exercise routine to doing a detox. One way to cleanse your body in the spring is to focus on eating fresh, whole foods. The winter months often mean more comfort foods and less fresh produce, so spring is the perfect time to load up on fruits and vegetables. You can also try doing a juice cleanse or a smoothie detox to give your body a break from processed foods. Spring Cleaning for Your Mind: Finally, spring cleaning can also be beneficial for your mental health. After a long winter, many of us may be feeling a little down or uninspired. Spring is a great time to shake off those feelings and focus on mental wellbeing. One way to do this is by practicing mindfulness. This can mean taking up meditation, practicing gratitude, or simply taking a few moments each day to focus on your breath and clear your mind. You can also try journaling or creative writing to help process your thoughts and feelings. Overall, spring cleaning your lifestyle can have a positive impact on your overall health and wellbeing. By decluttering your home, cleansing your body, and refreshing your mind, you can start the season feeling refreshed and renewed. So, take some time this spring to focus on yourself and your health. You deserve it!

Family guilt and holiday guilt is real but it is vital to remember when you say no to others you are actually saying YES to yourself. Save yourself some stress by clearly and directly relaying your intentions and boundaries around what you will attend and what boundaries you will enforce. Don't over promise and don't over extend. Remember CLEAR is kind and UNCLEAR is unkind. Tip #4: Minerals and Vitamins play an important role in our stress and anxiety levels. Being deficient in certain minerals and vitamins can affect the biochemical balance in your brain, resulting in anxiety or increasing the levels you're currently experiencing. The best minerals for stress management are magnesium, vitamin D, B vitamins, zinc, calcium and iron. You can get a mineral panel to find out what minerals you may be deficient in or just try supplementing with some practitioner grade minerals. Heres our favorites. Tip #5: Energy Healing and Chakra Balancing promotes deep relaxation and reduces anxiety and stress. Guided meditations and visualizations are very soothing for quieting the mind and calming the spirit when you are feeling uneasy and stressed. Spiritual work and energy healing like reiki can be extremely helpful in supporting mental, emotional, spiritual, energetic, and even physical wellness. Also share with us in the comments any supplements you like to use when traveling and where you are off to next!! Let’s debunk some common myths and fabrications made by naysayers about Colon Hydro Therapy AKA Colonics so you can understand why you shouldn’t fear such a valuable, effective and life changing treatment.
Let’s start by stating why I AM QUALIFIED to make the following statements in support of this treatment, colon health, & digestive track. I encourage you to ask naysayers what there qualifications are as well. As we are inundated with miss shared information in our culture. FACTS about me: 1. I was trained and certified in Internal Cleansing, Colon Hydro Therapy and the Lymphatic System. 2. I have been continuing my education and working in the wellness field for almost 17 years and have worked with over 20k people professionally. 3. I interned with the Mother of Industry and author of first book ever written on internal cleansing Millan Chessman, as well as Internationally proclaimed Trainer and Board Member Roxanne Watson. 4. I’m partnered with the #1 School Internationally for Internal Cleansing and Lymphatic Drainage training the most qualified Therapists world wide. 5. I am third generation and have seen these treatments changing peoples live since the ripe old age of FIVE YEARS OLD! Myth # 1: Your colon will no longer work on its own if you do Colonics! FICTION: This is just anatomically incorrect. The Colon is a muscle and introduction of water naturally encourages peristalsis (the flexing of the muscle) which in turn strengthens the muscle. Saying your colon won’t work on it’s own if you do colonics would be like saying lifting weights will atrophy your muscles. It’s just incorrect. Myth #2: You can become addicted to Colonics! FACT: Are you addicted to feeling your best? Are you addicted to eating healthy and your healthy lifestyle? Are you addicted to going to the gym or yoga? You WILL feel amazing after doing Colon Hydro Therapy and you will always want to maintain that feeling by continuing doing them. A monthly maintenance plan will keep you feeling your best as well as help prevent Illness and Disease! So if this is their definition of “addicted” then me and my clients will have to admit.....we’re addicts! Myth #3: Colonics will get rid of all the GOOD Bacteria in your colon! Inconclusive: All the research studies done on this topic have remained inconclusive. Not only can we not quantify if/how much good bacteria is lost during a colonic we cannot even quantify how much good bacteria is required for proper digestive health, which is unfortunate. That being said, within the colon lies the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly and in my professional opinion the benefit of getting rid of the BAD and the UGLY outweighs any threat of releasing "possibly" some of the GOOD. So after your colonic do one of the following: take a probiotic to increase the healthy flora in the gut regularly, get a prescription for a probiotic additive at the end of your colonic if possible, and drink/eat vegetables and probiotic dense foods to relieve any concern you may have on the topic. These 3 easy fixes seem like much more reasonable options then just ignoring the root of the problem altogether. Myth #4: Getting a Colonic can rupture the colon! FICTION: I cannot state enough how fictional and fear mongering this statement is and although I hate fear mongering I must state the truth. There are many more cases of complications caused by colonoscopies reported then EVER reported regarding Colon Hydro Therapy. In Fact, we have never had ONE verified or reported rupture from a Colonic EVER! But like with all things I would always recommend you see a therapist who is qualified to be rendering you a treatment, has proper education and certifications and is skilled in their field. If looking for a Colon Hydro Therapist in Southern California I would recommend visiting us here at Living Water Wellness or if you are looking for a qualified therapist near you don't hesitate to reach us as we would love to help place you with someone near you! 11/22/2018 2 Comments Thankful & Blessed
Happy Thanksgiving 2/7/2018 0 Comments you're never alone![]() February is often celebrated as one of the most romantic months of the year. Although candy and flowers fill the shelves of local grocery stores while restaurants prepare for candlelit dinners, February isn’t all romance and roses for everyone. I can remember many Valentine’s Day shared alone with my head buried in work, girlfriends, gossip and a glass of wine, and even the occasional disappointing date with “Mr. Right Now”. In other words, Valentine’s Day isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be for the lonely. February can be a fairly disappointing month for those of us reminded, that while others are celebrating partnership we ourselves feel very “alone”. Traditional Valentine’s Day does us an injustice by making us believe that we need to look outside ourselves for somebody to make us feel whole or loved. True love is actually radiated from within our hearts and it requires us truly falling in love with ourselves to receive love in return. Don’t get me wrong, having partnership and somebody who we love and loves us in return is a beautiful thing and definitely part of the human experience but it isn’t the only piece. Buddha said, “You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.” His statement couldn’t be more correct about love. So regardless of whether in partnership, marriage, friendship, or if you’re feeling completely alone this season it’s important to start the vital practices of Self Love! So what are some ways you can begin simply practicing self love? Here are just a few of my favorite practices:
Constantly remind yourself that you are loved! You are adored by the people you influence on a daily basis. You are valued by all the staff here at Living Water Wellness, but most importantly you are loved by God and the Universe! So let’s get to loving ourselves! Not only can constipation be painful and uncomfortable but it can be the root cause of future illnesses and diseases! A normal colon should have anywhere from 2-3 large bowel movements a day. But when things don’t flow the way they should, it’s nice to have some tips to help them along. I’ve put together a list of some of my sure-fire ways to help relieve your constipation completely naturally, without having to pop a pill or use a damaging laxitive.

10/2/2017 1 Comment Weight Loss Tricks that WORK!![]() We’ve all been the victim of late-night junk food binges, cheat meals that turn into cheat weeks, and the occasional glass of wine that turns into the whole bottle, I'm not exempt. So when we're trying to lose weight, it’s easy to mess up and hinder our progress with old poor habits. As a health enthusiast and wellness specialist, I have seen thousands of people come to me with a goal of losing weight, and a strong will to shove those bad habits aside in the quest for a healthy lifestyle. And with the holidays fast approaching and family gatherings on the horizon, now more than ever is the time to ditch those pounds. I’m here to tell you these are some of the most simple tricks I’ve learned along the way that I pass on to you! These 5 tricks have shown amazing results in even the most doubtful clients...check them out: 1. Colonics (aka Colon Hydrotherapy) What is a Colonic anyway? I’m glad you asked! A Colonic is a simple way to easily and effectively clean out waste and inflammation from the colon and digestive tract. Since the average person, eating the average American diet, going #2 two to three times a day, has anywhere from 5-15 pounds of excess material in their body. Not only can someone lose up to 15+ pounds by cleaning out their colon using colonics but the aftermath leaves most people with a firmer, flatter, more toned tummy as well. It has been known to be extremely beneficial in improving energy as well for continued weight loss success. Check out some testimonials to see what others have said about their colonic experience or schedule your own at www.livingwaterwellness.com 2. Hydrating (and Saunas!) You’ve probably heard about the health benefits of staying hydrated, but that’s only part one of this trick! Part two is, you guessed it, saunas! Drinking all that water is wonderful for flushing out toxins and getting that vital H2O to all your cells, but jumping in the sauna then takes that unused or old water and toxins and pulls them to the surface of your skin and out of your body. The heat from, say, an infrared sauna, penetrates much deeper within your body then an average sauna. That deep penetrating heat allows you to remove more than just sweat & water weight creating more lasting and instant weight loss results. To Schedule a Sauna for $10 off click on this link and use promo code: SAUNA10 3. Finding Physical activity you love! Of course, exercise is important for weight loss and overall health. But if you’re physical activity is a chore you have to force yourself out of bed for, you’re doing it wrong. Keep trying different activities until you find something you enjoy. And whatever the activity may be, be it biking, walking, kayaking, swimming, or dancing around the house to some good tunes, make sure you enjoy it. That’s one of the best pieces of advice I give to anyone struggling with weight loss - enjoy yourself! Also track these basic activities on an app like “My Fitness Pal” to help keep yourself accountable as well as see what you burn doing random physical activities like housework or even sex. 4. Healthy Eating I know, I know, you probably clicked on this blog to find a way around having to drink smoothies and eat vegetables for dinner, but unfortunately, healthy food is important. Despite your possible doubts, eating healthy can become really enjoyable! It just takes a tiny bit of effort. Look up some healthy versions of the meals you love - Protein Style Burgers, Romaine Tacos, Creative Salads, etc. - and try them out! Thanks to Pinterest there are TONS of delicious recipes out there that’ll help you lose weight and won’t taste like a bowl of lettuce. PLUS, you will feel more energetic and lighter after healthy meals. If you’re local to San Diego here is one of our favorite Health Food Restauraunts to try as well! Cafe Gratitute. 5. Surround Yourself with Positivity Having people on the same weight-loss journey to connect with and gain support from is a HUGE help for achieving your weight loss goal. But even if you’re on this journey alone, it’s important to surround yourself with people who are all-around positive. These types of people will be encouraging and excited for your progress. Remember negativity can easily seep into our subconscious and make us fall off the wagon. Positivity is KEY! Try following motivational people on Facebook and Instagram so your threads stay flooded with tips, tricks, & positive influences. Keep your circle small if you have to but make sure the people and influences in your life are positive, supportive and in alignment with your goals. Here are some social media links to keep you motivated!
