Tips & Tricks to get you summer ready!
Summer is well on it’s way! The San Diego sun is out and you know what that means… time to find that perfect swimsuit! Or rather… time to get in shape FAST so you can look good in that swimsuit, right? Getting summer ready is easier said than done, and like most people, I too struggle with getting back that “summer body” after a winter full of over indulging. I mean, who can say no to those February girl scout cookies right? But after years of researching fad diets and quick-fixes, I’ve narrowed down what I’ve found to be some of the easiest yet best tips & tricks to get that body bounce back just in time for an awesome San Diego Summer!
Everyone knows water is vital for our health, but did you know that drinking more can help you shed excess water weight? Yep... fresh clean water gets rid of toxic water weight. As it turns out, our bodies retain water as a result of too much sodium in our system. The more water you drink, the more sodium you’ll flush out, and the less water weight you’ll hold onto. This is a simple way to shed a few pounds FAST! It's also a good idea to reduce the amount of bad sodium in your diet for even better results. Try using Himalayan Sea Salts instead of table salt and drink fresh Celery Juice that should do the trick!
Moving your body is key to getting in shape. But exercise shouldn’t be boring or strict! Ditch the gym and those mundane workout routines you found on the internet, and find something you really LOVE doing. I found that Pilates, it is an amazing way for me to get in shape AND enjoy myself. I love getting stronger, more flexible, longer, leaner muscles and seeing improvement in every class. But remember, what works for me doesn’t have to work for you. There’s no right or wrong way to move your body, just find something that gets you EXCITED and do it consistently!

Plenty of juices and smoothies really help move toxins and old material out of your body, and leave you feeling energized! It doesn’t have to be a complete juice fast to have cleansing results. 5. Raw Foods
Hold on, do I have to eat lettuce all day? Before I tried raw foods, I was worried about the same things, that it would be bland, tasteless, and leave me hungry. But I’ve found that raw foods give me so much energy! Big smoothies filled with delicious fruit, veggies with hummus on raw crackers, and even raw desserts, are only some of the amazingly healthy and delicious raw foods to eat! Eating this way really boosts weight loss and gets you on track to get that summer body!
