How Do You Get Rid of Gas & Bloating

Do you suffer from Gas & Bloating?
Not only can gas and bloating be uncomfortable and embarrassing but it is also often unsightly. Even the thinnest of people can look 10 pounds heavier when severely bloated. So what causes gas & how do you prevent it?

What Causes Gas?
A certain amount of gas is normal in the intestines as it happens naturally when we digest foods which is why it is important to watch what we eat. Uncomfortable gas and bloating is abnormal though. This type of gas and bloating is a sign of bigger problems like:

Food allergies
Exposure to toxins and chemicals
Bad diet
Poor hydration
Slow digestion
Antibiotic use etc. 

The primary culpret though is harmful bacterias , chemicals, & parasites living or trapped in the colon wall and producing smelly or severe gas and bloating. 

How to Prevent Gas & Bloating?

Cleanse your Colon:
Since the harmful bacterias and chemicals are what continue to cause the problem you must first remove them thoroughly from the colon wall if you want to see immediate or long term results. Simple Green Smoothie

Juicing in the morning does not have to be difficult or complicated. Make breakfast easy by making a simple green smoothie to start your day. Green Smoothies are a great way to get vital nutrients, lose weight and cleanse your body. All you need is the right tools and a few simple ingredients to start and it will make breakfast a whole new experience.

Buy a Blender
With so many blender options on the market a little research will help you find one thats right for you. The Nutri Bullet is simple, quick, easy and under $100.  I use this in the morning because it is a time saver. Other great options are the Ninja and of course the VitaMix. Although these blenders are far superior they are larger and clean up takes longer. You can also use whatever you already have in your cupboard no need to spend extra money. 

Use Green Ingredients:
Green Foods are the most important staple to the Green Smoothie. Leafy, nutrient dense veggies are the best. I recommend leafy greens like Kale, Spinach, Broccoli Leaf, Dandelion greens, & Chard. You can add 1, 2, or all of these greens to a smoothie but the most important fact is that 2/3rds of your smoothie should be these greens.

Mmm Mmm Fruit:
Fruit is what can change the flavor of your smoothie and make it delicious particularly for someone new to Green Smoothies. Although fruit shouldn't be more then 1/3rd of the entire smoothie content there are some fruits that can really adjust the taste and make it sweet. If you prefer a sweeter smoothie I recommend Pineapple, Watermelon, Cantaloupe, Papaya, Blueberries, Strawberries and even Avocado. 

Add a boost:
Fruits and veggies should be your primary source of nutrition in your smoothie but you can add supplements to your smoothie to make it a complete meal and whole food source. I add Supplements like Fiber, Vegan Protein, Chlorophyll, Coconut Oil, and so much more.

4 Small Kale Leaves
8-10 Dandelion Green Leaves
2 Large Broccoli Leafs
2 Cubes Watermelon
2 Cubes Papaya
Small Handful of Blueberries
1 Tsp of Ground Chia and Flax
1 Scoop Warrior Blend Vegan Protein
10 Drops Liquid Chlorophyll
Coconut Water and water
Blend and Enjoy!

How to maintain Lymphatic Health

At Living Water Wellness we believe the MOST effective way to maintain a healthy Lymphatic System is to begin by doing a Package of Electro Lymphatic Drainage Treatments for thorough cleansing first then receive monthly Treatments for maintenance thereafter. Although there are plenty of ways to maintain at how which we would love to share with you!

Lymph Building Tips:

*Exercise! Bouncing on a mini-trampoline, also called a rebounder, is the ideal lymphatic exercise. One of the highest quality rebounders available is the Needak Softbounce Rebounder, which folds in half for easy transport.

*Breathe deeply. Proper breathing begins with the diaphragm. Go outside, and breathe slowly and deeply in through your nose until your lungs are completely full of air, then slowly exhale. Work up to 20 or more “connected breaths,” and do your best to remain conscious of your breathing throughout your day.

*Buy a natural skin brush and do “dry brushing” each morning to stimulate your circulation. Also Exfoliating with used coffee grounds helps reduce cellulite and improves cirulation.

*Drink plenty of pure water daily—half your body weight in ounces per day, or a minimum of 8 cups per day.

*Eliminate dairy, fried foods, sodas, coffee, refined sugar/salt/flour from your diet. In lieu of pastries and a latte, choose whole grain toast and herbal tea.

*Eat less protein and way more veggies! A 2,000 calorie daily diet should contain no more than 22-40 grams of protein but a minimum of 2/3rds of your diet should be fruits and veggies!
